Bowling
The Indoor Carpet bowling section formed in 1978 and meet 3 nights a week from October to April. We have about 40 members of all ages, happily welcoming new members all the time with tuition given to beginners.
There are 8 club competitions and 3 Open competitions during the season. The Opens attracts competitors from far afield as Macduff in the east and Rothes in the west, and many places in between.
2011 - 2012 squash season
Team matches are normally held on a Thursday evenings, starting at 19:15 Match fixtures, results, league positions, contacts and the latest squash news can all be obtained online at
www.hisa.co.uk Club members or guests are welcome to come and watch team matches. Refreshments can be purchased at the bar and taken to the viewing balcony. After every team match, players from each team vote for their ‘man of the match' nomination for the opposing team. The person with the most nominations over the season is awarded the prize at the Annual Prize giving ceremony in April. Last season the Division 1 man of the match award was won by Andy Farquhar of Buckpool A.
